El Salvador, Misamis Oriental, Philippines — The newly created city of El Salvador in the Province of Misamis Oriental, Mindanao, Philippines is home to a gigantic statue/shrine of the Divine Mercy. Since its creation a few years back, the shrine is becoming a favorite pilgrimage site for devout Catholics across the Mindanao island region.
