Lake Kariba, Kariba, Zimbabwe — Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe is known as one of the biggest man-made lake in the world. During one long weekend, I didn’t pass up the chance to visit the place and joined a sunset cruise along the lake. Maybe its just me or my eyes are playing tricks on me but the sunset in Zimbabwe seems more dramatic, and the colors seem more saturated than in other parts of the world (at least in the areas where I have been).

  1. nice shot… there is also a man-made lake in Balo-i. Maybe sometime you could take some pics there like this one.

    • I hope someday I will be able to shot the man-made lake in Balo-i. The only problem is that place is quite dangerous to be in during late afternoons/early evenings (the best time to shoot the sunset).
